Developmental Kindergarten is an all-day extra year readiness program for students who are age eligible for Kindergarten, but may not be ready for formal instruction in Kindergarten.  Our approach to learning is very hands on versus paper and pencil activities. We focus on the social aspect of school in working with others and following directions as well as the academic skills of learning letters and sounds, number recognition and counting, writing, and discovery with science and social studies themes. The morning is centered on all of our academics and the afternoon is less structured. We provide a quiet time break to rest our mind and body, a choice time to engage socially with peers and a specials time with either library, computer lab, music or movement.
DAILY PICKUP - Change effective 4/11/2016
In an effort to keep cars in the parking lot moving quickly and to allow drivers to stay in their vehicles, students will now have specific locations they travel to for daily pickup. Click HERE for more information regarding the new procedure and specific pickup locations.
